RapidForce products are innovative systems for healing injured or painful areas. Thicker and stronger than tape yet more flexible than a brace, the products were designed to be a unique hybrid of both for use by physical therapists, their patients and general consumers. The revolutionary shapes are engineered as a "flexible exo-skeleton", adhesive applications easy to apply and can be worn for up to five days. Their unique construction uses compression fabric and other materials to deliver the right combination of elasticity and strength, offering support without inhibiting the body's natural movement.
The primary market is physical therapists and their patients. With a trend toward more rehab happening at home and decreases in the number of visits to a physical therapist, the RAPIDFORCE team wants to provide an effective product to be used both inside and outside the clinic setting. "Continuation of the rehabilitation at home becomes more feasible with an effective device that can aid in pain reduction while also allowing movement so the patient can continue their directed exercises" said Jeff Smith, President, "That is our goals."
The company entered the market earlier this year and is poised for growth, currently working with Aurora and other key regional healthcare providers. BizStarts healthcare providers. BizStarts showcased the company in a recent Pitch Preview session and is actively working with them to network in the investment community and raise capital that will take them to the next level of sales and operations.
"Networking through BizStarts along with the pitch practice gives us a great foundation for further success."
"The initial positive reception from physical therapists combined with a business that has low fixed costs makes this a promising investment" said Paul Napieralski, CFO and first accredited investor.
