You are invited to the BizStarts Milwaukee May 17th Inspirational Entrepreneur event at We Energies honoring David Lubar and Kenneth Szallai, Co-Founders of the Lake Express LLC.
Lake Express is the first high speed auto/passenger ferry to operate on the Great Lakes and within the Continental United States. The ship began service on the route between Milwaukee, Wisconsin and Muskegon,Michigan on June 1, 2004.

David Lubar David Lubar joined Lubar & Co. in 1983 and has been its President since 1994. He has served as lead investor and a director to over 20 companies in a wide range of industries and various stages of development, including Lake Express, Shared Imaging, Optique Capital, Rockland Industrial Products, Wrightwood Capital, Milwaukee Brewers and Zero Zone.
Kenneth Szallai Kenneth Szallai has served as President and Member of the Board of Directors, Lake Express, LLC since it was established in 2004. Prior experience includes serving as Director of the Port of Milwaukee from 1986 until 2004 and as President and Chief Operating Officer of Troll Tankers, Inc./Navichem Corporation in Houston, Texas.
