BizStarts’ popular Inspirational Entrepreneur series returns to the We Energies Auditorium on March 9 for breakfast, networking and (obviously) inspiration.

Meet and hear from Sue Marks, CEO of Pinstripe, Inc., and Michael Major, CEO of Cambridge Major Laboratories. Pinstripe matches and recruits top talent with organizations in key industries. Meanwhile, Cambridge Major recently expanded their Germantown facility, which develops and manufactures products for the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries.

Get a variety of perspectives and network with some of Milwaukee’s best (the entrepreneurs, not the beer – after all, it’s a breakfast).

 Michael Major, CEO, Cambridge Major Laboratories

Michael Major began his career as a tenured professor of Organic Chemistry at the University of Lodz in Poland. From there, he went to Northwestern University and also earned a Humboldt Fellowship at the University of Stuttgart and researched at McMaster University in Ontario.

In the early 1990s as the entrepreneurial bug hit him, Major founded Major Laboratories. In 1999 the company merged with Cambridge Chemical to form Cambridge Major Laboratories in 1999.

On July 20, 2009, Cambridge Major Laboratories (CML) announced the dedication of its new large scale Active Pharmaceutical Ingredient (API) manufacturing facility in Germantown. The state-of-the-art facility provides a high quality, US-based API supply option for the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries, and is in response to CML’s need for larger capacity fueled by its growing pipeline of developmental and commercial manufacturing projects.
