Economic Development Organizations

All seven counties in Southeast Wisconsin have a county- wide economic development organization dedicated to the economic viability of their county and the Milwaukee 7 region. Additionally, the City of Milwaukee has professional staff dedicated to community and economic development. All of these organizations are members of the Regional Economic Partnership, a Founding Sponsor and Founding Partner of BizStarts Milwaukee.

These organizations provide assistance in the following areas:

• Locating sites and buildings
• Accessing local and state funding sources and incentives
• Connecting entrepreneurs with appropriate resources
• Providing information on communities within their county
