Public Libraries
Public libraries are often a great source of information for entrepreneurs. Southeastern Wisconsin offers municipal libraries and county-based library systems with resources for entrepreneurs.
Typically, any public library in your county or public library system will honor the library cards from any other public library in the county or library system.
To take advantage of the resources of your local public library:
- Go to the library’s web site to begin your research. Library web sites usually contain links to their own library catalog and often include other local libraries in the same search engine, allowing you to check many libraries in your area in one catalog search.
- Visit the library in person and discuss your needs with a reference librarian
