The Golden Angels Network is an independent group of accredited investors who seek excellent returns by investing in early stage high potential businesses and helping these businesses accelerate to market leadership.
The Golden Angels Network and its members support the growth of entrepreneurs in the communities in which we live. Our members are committed to providing each other with education, opportunities to make well screened and well structured investments and to give back time, talent and resources for the mutual benefit of the group and those entrepreneurs with whom they work. We believe that wealth creation creates compassion and improves the quality of life in the communities in which we live.
Business Planning
The Golden Angels Network members have a positive track record of building and managing successful companies either as entrepreneurs, operating executives or business professionals. Network members have great experience reviewing business plans, advising entrepreneurs and supporting growth in the community.
The Golden Angels are committed to offering their time, talent and resources for the mutual benefit of the group and those entrepreneurs with whom they work.
Overview
The mission of The Golden Angels Network is to provide a forum in which its members can exchange information about investment opportunities in early-stage technology and emerging growth companies in Wisconsin and Illinois.
The Golden Angels Network was formed at Marquette University in early 2003. It began as an effort to connect alumni and friends of the University to entrepreneurs seeking assistance in growing their businesses.
Today the network considers business opportunities primarily from Illinois and Wisconsin, as well as from the Midwest. It has invested over $10.0 Million since 2003.
It has grown from several dozen members in 2003 to over 60 members today. About half of the members are alumni of Marquette University.
