Serves as an expert resource for statewide assistance to Wisconsin's tech-based entrepreneurial start-ups and established small business firms in competing for federal R&D grant and contract funding programs as well as collaborative research efforts.
These programs include the federal SBIR and STTR Programs, Broad Agency Announcements (BAA), Request for Proposals (RFP), and Program Announcements (PA) and Cooperative Research and Development Agreements (CRADA).
Assistance and services include providing: a SBIR/STTR help "answer desk" for technical questions; educational seminars/worshops on various programs; advice and guidance on specific program requirements of the various participating federal agencies; and, research proposal pre-submission reviews on a case by case basis.
