This conference is the first regional college student entrepreneur conference ever held in Southeast Wisconsin. You will have the opportunity to meet and network with a highly diverse group of students from all 20 colleges in the region. Some will be student entrepreneurs; some will be pursuing degrees or certificates in entrepreneurship; while many others will just be considering entrepreneurship as a career path for themselves.
Keynote speakers for the conference are two nationally- known young, dynamic and successful entrepreneurs from out of state, with very entertaining stories about their personal and entrepreneurial journeys. You will also hear from a handful of young entrepreneurs in Wisconsin, along with experts in funding and social media.
The conference is virtually free. You will be required to pay a $10 registration fee, but the $10 will be returned to you in cash at the end of the day of the conference after you fill out and return the evaluation form. Breakfast and lunch will be provided along with some hand-outs and great door prizes. When you register, you will be provided 25 blank BizStarts Milwaukee business cards to use when networking during the day.
The conference is sponsored by BizStarts Milwaukee, a non-profit organization dedicated to creating a strong innovation-driven, entrepreneurial business climate in Southeast Wisconsin.
