BizStarts' first "Investor Forum" event gives four companies (and investors) real opportunity
The whole point of BizStarts is to help companies become investment-ready so they can launch, grow, and create jobs. On Friday, December 7, BizStarts Milwaukee brought together four investor-ready start-ups and a slew of investors to meet, pitch, and - hopefully - match up. Held at Whyte Hirschboeck Dudek, s.c., 3D Dairy Foods, RapidForce, NoVo, LLC, and GottaShopIt.com all pitched to real investors after extensive prep work with BizStarts. Venture Track Director Todd Sobotka and Entrepreneur-In-Residence Fred Brooks did most of the advising for investor pitches. Other BizStarts staff, coaches, and mentors assisted as needed. What will this bring for these four companies? We'll definitely let you know!
The view from the podium (above) reveals the multitude of investors and fund managers ready to hear what these four companies had to offer. BizStarts President Dan Steininger welcomed the attendees here. Steve King of 3D Dairy Foods (left) makes his pitch.
